Our Verdict

The Sea to Summit Frontier UL 1.3L Pot is a well-built bit of kit that’s earned a spot in my solo cook system, if im planning something more elaborate than a dehydrated meal. Thanks to the hard-anodised aluminium construction, it boils fast, and the ceramic non-stick coating holds up — no scrubbing is required after porridge or noodles. The Click-Safe handle feels secure and cleverly locks over the lid when packed. I rate the integrated strainer and the LidKeep clip, which lets you rest the lid on the pot’s edge mid-cook, rather than chucking it in the dirt.

There’s also a clear volume scale inside, and the broad base is ideal for pasta, ramen, or a proper one-pot meal. If you like cooking real food on the trail, this pot is worth a look.
