Our Verdict

SteriPEN’s Ultralight UV Water Purifier is very lightweight which is one of the main reasons we stock UV water purifiers as the are often very lightweight. This is important as you should really pair one of these up with a water filter too to get the maximum effectiveness of the system.

We always appreciate rechargeable batteries and being able to treat 20L of water from one charge makes it sufficient for a good few days out on the trails. Pair it up with a solar charger and you could treat water for much longer trips.
