EVERNEW Bluenote Stove Set comprises of an alcohol burner and pre-heating plate. Made in aluminium, this is the most compact stove option from EVERNEW and fits neatly inside their 400FD Cup/Pot (NOT included). With this burner, its design of a side-burner jet means there is no need for a trivet. Its 45mm diameter allows you to boil 330ml of water in under 5 minutes with just one pour of fuel. The pre-heating plate further improves the stoves efficiency.

Our Verdict

This is a robust alcohol stove with a pre-heating plate made from a lightweight aluminium stove that is sturdy enough to put your pan directly on top that does not require a trivet or additional support. The Bluenote has an impressive flame spread that heats the entire surface of the pan, unlike some alcohol stoves with a concentrated flame that quickly heats one section of a pan that can burn food. The Bluenote utilises a concave base that directs the alcohol to the edges, which results in a more efficient burn.

A stove and heat plate, specially made for the Bluenote, improves the burner’s performance by directing the fuel  into the plate’s groves, directly under the flames. The plate and burner weigh less than 20 grams combined, everything we love to see here at UOG
