Our Verdict

The Swift Lite Hybrid Shorts hybrid fabric mix does a solid job—light and quick-drying at the front, a bit more rugged around the back where you tend to get more abrasion. I appreciated the soft inner brief, and the vented panels helped keep things cool without overdoing it. The waistband stays put without digging in, though the external drawcord feels a little bulky under a hipbelt.

The thigh zip pocket is handy for small essentials, but nowhere to stash your phone, which is worth noting. Fit-wise, I’d consider sizing up if you’re on the fence, especially if you prefer a bit more room through the thigh.
